Frequency Dependent Nonlinear Amplifier
This project illustrates how to set up and use the file-based, frequency-dependent amplifier, AMP_F. This block is configured using a data file, in this case file "AmpData" under Data Files in the Project tree, which is made up of six columns:
FREQ(,Hz) NF(,dB) OIP3(,dBm) OP1dB(,dBm) S21(MAG) S21(PHS,deg)
As seen by the file content, all these parameters are dependent on the frequency.
The system diagram "Amp Test Bench" shows how the AMP_F block is driven by a TONE.
The parameters for the Frequency Analysis are set in Options/Default System Options, under the "Frequency Analysis" tab; in this project the offsets from the center frequency are set from 0.2 to 25 GHz, in steps of 0.2 GHz.
This project contains four graphs that display NF, OIP3, P1dB and S21 measurements along with their respective values from the "AmpData" data file for comparison.
