I can not access Help by pressing
when editing Visual Basic code in the scripting editor (i.e. in the integrated development environment, or IDE).
Solution - Windows 7
Use the link below to search for the
WinHlp32.exe program for your operating system.
Then download and install it. This program is required to display the help for the scripting IDE.
Solution - Post Windows 7
Windows no longer support .HLP files, which was what the scripting editor help was written in. This means that F1 help will not work in operating systems that do not support .HLP files. We have converted that to pdf for and the download is available here: NI_AWR_Sax_Basic.pdf.
