The license server must be running without any errors to work properly.

The best way to determine if the floating license server is set up correctly is to view the debug.log file that is created when the server is started. The path to this file is set as described in section 3.2.1 of the AWRDE Installation Guide . Click here if you have having trouble opening the link to the document.

If the server started successfully, the debug.log file reads similar to the following file with no error messages. It also displays a "Server started on (machine name) for: (list of features)" message (shown in the 3rd line from bottom).
