AWR offers a range of products, each customized with certain capabilities of the software. The following explains the various features associated with each AWR product.

AWR offers three main lines consisting of Microwave Office® (MWO), Analog Office® (AO) and Visual System SimulatorTM (VSS), each with different options.

A product feature starts with the product name followed by a 3-digit number specifying the options it includes.

These are listed below for AWRDE 2010:

MWO-XYZ, ANO-XYZ

X=1 Linear Simulator
X=2 Nonlinear Simulator (Harmonic Balance; includes Linear Simulator)
X=4 Linear, HB and transient

Y=0 No EM Solver
Y=2 EMSight and EM socket interface
Y=4 Adds AXIEM iterative solver, 64-bit and up to 4 cores
Y=6 Adds Analyst 3D FEM simulator
Y=8 Adds AXIEM and Analyst

Z=0 No Layout
Z=5 Layout and Layout Export/Import
Z=6 Layout and Layout Export/Import, iNETS
Z=8 Layout and Layout Export/Import, iNETS, DRC, GaAs Libraries
Z=9 All of the features in 8 in and ACE (Automated Circuit Extraction).

VSS-X50

X=1 Budget Analysis, Tone Inspection
X=2 Budget Analysis, Tone Inspection, Complex Envelope, Signals Library, Yield Analysis, 
    Tuning and Optimization
X=3 Features in 2 in addition to Communications System Libraries, Fixed Point, Encoding
