Description
This script will smooth a user selected 2 port sparameter file loaded in the project. When run the dialog below will open. The controls are:
Select Datafile: Which data file loaded in the project to smooth.
Window Size: Determines how many points before and after the current point is used to do the smoothing.
Window Type: determines if you want perform box smoothing or ramp smoothing. Box smoothing will give the same weight to each point used to do the smoothing. Ramp smoothing weights points closer to the actual point being smoothed higher.
Script will create a new data file with smoothed data. The new name is will be the original name with "_smooth" added to end.
Below is an example of a .s2p file before and after smoothing.

Scripts included in the install are configured to run directly from the NI AWR Design Environment from the Scripts menu.
