Problem
Does AWR provide any university course material?
Solution
Keith Kikkert of James Cook University has developed an RF Design Course for final year undergraduate or masters students. AWR has acquired a license to make this material available to any university that is interested in using it. Included in the course are lecture notes as well as Microwave Office project files for all of the examples. All of these files are provided free of copy restrictions to any university wishing to use them for teaching RF design with Microwave Office. We have added additional material as well as various updates to the Microwave Office project files.
The lecture notes cover the following topics:
Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Simulation
Chapter 3: RF Transformers
Chapter 4: Transmission Line Hybrids
Chapter 5: Mixers
Chapter 6: Oscillators
Chapter 7: RF Filters
Chapter 8: Amplifier Stability, Noise and Gain Circles
Chapter 9: Impedance Matching of Power Amplifiers
