Problem

Can not type text in Schematics, System Diagrams, Global Definitions or Output Equations windows.

Solution

The AWR Design Environment is not a unicode program, therefore you setup your operating system to use English for programs that are not unicode to be able to properly enter text into the AWRDE.

  1. In the Control Panel, select Clock, Language, and Region in Window 7, or just Region in Windows 10, to bring up the dialog box.

  2. On the Formats tab, in the Format: group, select English as the format.

  3. On the Administrative tab, make sure that English is set as the "Current language for non-Unicode programs". If not, click the Change system locale... to set this to English.

  4. A reboot is required to complete this change.
