If you have purchased the product, please follow the guidelines below to ensure the most efficient delivery of your license.
Install the AWR Design Environment from the download file or product CD. Installation instructions are available in the AWRDE Installation Guide . How To Avoid Problems Viewing PDF Files In License Troubleshooter The installation program automatically sets up the AWRDE, including the Help files.
Get your HostID. There are two types of licenses, locked and floating.
If you have a locked license, AWR needs the HostID of the computer(s) on which you'll run the software. See How to determine your HostID number for more information.
If you have a floating license, AWR needs the HostID of the server computer. See section 3.2.1 of the AWRDE Installation Guide ( How To Avoid Problems Viewing PDF Files In License Troubleshooter ) or see How to determine your HostID number for more information.
If you are upgrading from an existing purchased product installation, please forward a working copy of your existing license file as follows to ensure AWR sends you the correct license.
Request your license based on the following geographic regions:
United States and Canada: Domestic customers should send their license request to
awr.licenses@cadence.com
. Please include your PO Number or Invoice Number. AWR must be able to locate your purchase in our Customer database in order to issue you the correct license.International (all other countries): International customers should send their license requests to their local Sales Representative, who will include the PO number or invoice number so that AWR can issue you the correct license.
