Design Notes
This project shows how to use the RFB VSS Carrier to IM3 ratio measurement (dBc). Please read the measurement help for C_IM3.
The graph "C_IM3 dBc shows the ratio of the carrier power to the third order itermodulation product.
If you look at the 2nd row of the graph "P_node of signal and IM3" you will see the 2nd column is -41.302dBm and that the 3rd column is 2.849dBm. -41.302dBm is the power level of the IM3 product and 2.849dBm is the power of the main signal (carrier).
2.849 - (-41.302) is IM3_dBc.
Also you can see a plot of power in vs. power out.
