Which CPW line models support backside ground effects?
The following EM-Based CPW line models support backside ground effects:<= /p>
Note the following:
Taking out the backside ground effect for CPW1LINE (EM Quasi-Static)= will not produce the same results as CPWLINE (Closed Form). This is becaus= e CPW1LINE assumes a substrate of infinite thickness while CPWLINE does not= . See Element Help for CPW1LINE and CPWLINE for more information.
The *_NOM parameters of CPW_SUB are used only by X-models. They have= no effect on CPW line models that are not X-models.
It is recommended that you read Element Help for the CPW line models you= plan to use in your design.
The following Closed Form CPW line models do not suppor= t backside ground effects:
