Design Notes

RFB C_S11 and C_S22 Measurement

This example shows RFB being used to measure S11 and S22 of a filter. The graph "BPF Response" shows the response of the filter taken directly from the Touchstone data file "BPF."

LIN_S in the system diagram "Filter" is used to read in theTouchstone data.

The PORT_SRC source has its center frequency set to 1000MHz. Under Options (from the main tool bar) --> Default System Options --> in the Frequency Analysis tab offset frequencies from 1000MHz are defined. In effect, the frequency analysis information is being used to sweep the the PORT_SRC source's center frequency from 600MHz to 1400MHz in increments of 4Mz. The RFB measurement setting will display 600MHz to 1400MHz on the x-axis.
